Where do you go to get inspired?
The easiest sites for me are the Simplicity and B.M.V webpages. I visit every couple weeks or so to see what's new, especially in their costume section. I like Butterick's Making History section, I've gotten a lot of great ideas from that line.
I also really enjoy watching costume dramas and period pieces, especially Westerns - I'm a sucker for long leather dusters.
And of course, Google image searches!

StumbleUpon. I get so many ideas from Stumble it's not funny! Not twenty minutes ago, just before joining this site, I found the cutest little dress! I can't imagine wearing it outside of a costume setting, but hey... What isn't a costume setting!?
I also get ideas from going to festivals and playing WoW. I'd like to make some cultist robes... Oh, and looking through the costume sections of pattern books. And movies. All sorts of movies. Van Helsing, Cutthroat Island, Interview with the Vampire, Star Wars, and Lord of the Rings. Especially Lord of the Rings.
